During my time at Cuckoo Design I designed and developed James’ website. It’s a custom WordPress theme allowing James to manage the site himself.

Amidst the sketches and templates, the buttons and cuttings, the scissors, the sewing machine, the kaleidoscopic rolls (and rolls) of fabric, the passion and the craftsmanship, and somewhere between Saville Row and Picasso you will find James Darby: modern artisan.

From his base in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, once the epicenter of “Cottonopolis”, he produces exquisite bespoke tailoring – combining classic fabrics and techniques with contemporary styling.
